'My fans feel bad that their hero doesn't...': Throwback to when Prabhas opened up on failure and not used to handling stardom

As a dedicated follower of Prabhas’ career, I have been captivated by his journey from a shy, reserved actor to the powerful star we see today. His candid interviews reveal a humble individual who, despite achieving unprecedented success, remains grounded and fearful of failure.

Without a doubt, Prabhas is one of the most captivating actors audiences have come across throughout the years. This talented Telugu actor has managed to win over the entire nation, receiving an overwhelming amount of affection. However, there was a period when he confessed feeling apprehensive about failure, attributing it to past unpleasant encounters with disappointment as his career took a downturn. Let’s take a trip back to when the Rebel star shared his honest thoughts in an interview.

In a previous conversation with IANS, Prabahas shared that even after achieving immense success with blockbusters in his career, he still harbors fears about failure.

He addressed the insane amount of pressure he had on him after the success of the Baahubali series for which he worked for over 2 years and how he did not take up any project during the same time, while he could have easily taken up a few more.

He expressed that it’s inevitable to encounter failure, especially when dealing with large-scale productions. He had been waiting for two years, which could have resulted in his involvement in four other films and potentially more earnings. However, he acknowledged the presence of fear, understanding the success of the producers and the effort put in by the actors and technicians, many of whom he worked alongside daily. Hence, yes, he admitted to having concerns about the possibility of failure.

Prabhas also acknowledged the high hopes his fans have for him, as they anticipate seeing him deliver outstanding performances on screen.

Contrary to his tough persona portrayed on screen, Prabhas is rather timid in real life. In one of his earlier interviews, the actor from Kalki revealed that he’s quite reserved and surprisingly admitted to being uneasy during interviews.

He shared that although he desires a large audience for his movies, he’s equally uneasy about interacting with numerous people personally, as he struggles to navigate the challenges that come with fame.

In an interview with IANS, he confessed that he remains somewhat timid during interviews. He yearns for a large audience to watch his films, but finds it challenging to interact with many people. Despite being in the film industry for over a decade, he admitted that he’s yet to grasp the intricacies of handling stardom. His fans often express disappointment due to his limited public appearances. However, he has made progress and is continually working on self-improvement.

Regarding his professional endeavors, Prabhas is looking forward to several upcoming projects such as Salaar 2, Fauji, Spirit, and The Raja Saab.
