As a dedicated fan with over two decades of martial arts enthusiast under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the final chapter of Cobra Kai! The anticipation has been building since the first season premiered back in 2018, and now, finally, we’re heading to Barcelona for the Sekai Taikai tournament.


Netflix recently shared a sneak peek of the upcoming part 2 for the sixth and last season of “Cobra Kai,” a martial arts show that continues the storyline from the classic Karate Kid trilogy. Starting this coming Friday, November 15, you can catch five new episodes as the series concludes its run.

In Part 2, we move on to the World Tournament, also known as the Sekai Taikai. Here, Miyagi-Do must confront fresh obstacles and recurring adversaries in their quest for global dominance — will they manage to remain united as hidden tensions within their ranks resurface?

What happens in the Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2 clip?

The video offers fans an early look at the first five minutes of Episode 6, penned by writers Joe Piarulli and Luan Thomas. This preview showcases the start of the Sekai Taikai tournament in Barcelona, where the Miyagi-Do team gets a glimpse of their fierce opponents during the opening ceremony.

The TV series Cobra Kai is created and co-produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. At present, it features Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Gianni Decenzo, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Yuji Okumoto, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Griffin Santopietro, Oona O’Brien, and others in leading roles.

The show is overseen by Macchio, Zabka, Will Smith, James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, and Susan Ekins as executive producers. In Season 6, Lewis Tan joins as Sensei Wolf, Patrick Luwis as Axel Kovacevic, and Rayna Vallandingham as Zara Malik. The production is handled by Sony Pictures Television. Post the second part, the rest of the episodes from the final season are expected to air in 2025.
