As a long-time League of Legends enthusiast who’s watched Jinx evolve from a simple champion to a captivating character in Arcane, I can hardly contain my excitement! The latest 2XKO showcase has reignited the spark that Project L first ignited within me. The prospect of playing as Jinx, with her arsenal of guns and traps, is a bullet hell dream come true!
In line with our earlier announcement, Riot Games has delivered as expected, unveiling a fresh 2XKO presentation starring Jinx. Following the success of Arcane Season 2, there’s been a surge of excitement for the show’s characters, and it’s no surprise that Riot chose to shine the limelight on Jinx for their upcoming character spotlight in 2XKO. Moreover, we now know that Jinx will be accessible for testing in the spring of 2025 as a playable character.
In a recent trailer for the game, Riot Games unveiled a fresh perspective of the character Jinx in 2XKO. This is the first significant glimpse of Jinx since she was initially showcased during early game previews when it was still known as Project L. The new gameplay of Jinx appears to embody the chaos of a bullet-filled battlefield, with an array of guns and traps transforming the screen into a challenging labyrinth of projectiles. She can use these tools to pin down enemies before unleashing her powerful finishing moves.
At the conclusion of the showcase event, it was revealed that Jinx will make an appearance in the upcoming playtests for 2XKO, scheduled for release in spring 2025. Alongside characters such as Yasuo, Darius, Ekko, Ahri, Braum, and Illaoi, Jinx will be part of these tests. Additionally, there’s a possibility that one more character might join the lineup before March 2025.
Nonetheless, times ahead look exciting for 2XKO. Keep an eye on the game’s topic here at Shacknews for more coverage and when you can sign up for the next playtests.
