As a gamer with a soft spot for both cartoons and comedies, I’m beyond thrilled about this week‘s Netflix lineup! With the arrival of “Hot Frosty” and “The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish,” it feels like Christmas came early – minus the snowman-turned-human love drama and the magical fairies, of course.
This week marks a fresh start, inching us ever nearer to Thanksgiving! Consequently, holiday films are making their debut, with Netflix releasing one of its most anticipated seasonal picks. However, there’s more to look forward to, such as a brand-new episode from a cherished cartoon franchise and four hilarious seasons of a comedy series that previously aired on NBC and Peacock.
Kicking off my week is a charming little number titled “Hot Frosty“! With its romance novel-esque vibe, it sure feels like a romantic fiction enthusiast was involved in the creation process. As you might imagine, the plot unfolds with a snowman magically transforming into a human man, and he develops feelings for a local woman portrayed by Lacey Chabert. Will their love be able to withstand the test of time beyond Christmas, or will it dissolve like ice cream on a sunny day? You’ll have to tune in to find out! Catch this heartwarming movie on Netflix starting Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024.

This week, the latest installment of “The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish” is set to debut on Netflix. In this new episode, we find ourselves following Hazel as she adjusts to a new city due to her father’s new job. Alone in Dimmadelphia after her brother departs for college, she stumbles upon an unexpected surprise – Cosmo and Wanda, who just so happen to be her next-door neighbors! Although they are currently retired, there’s a chance that they might jump back into action to grant Hazel’s heartfelt wishes.
