Major Star Officially Signs With WWE– Who’s Joining the Roster?

As a die-hard wrestling fan with over three decades of watching WWE, I must say that the recent addition of Lance Anoa’i to the roster has me genuinely excited! The Anoa’i family is a legendary dynasty in the world of professional wrestling, and Lance’s ties to The Bloodline make his signing even more intriguing.

WWE has recently welcomed a fresh talent into their lineup, an individual whose connections with The Bloodline could potentially have significant consequences. This year, the Bloodline faction has undergone a remarkable transformation, rising to become a formidable presence within the roster.

At WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes dethroned Roman Reigns as the WWE Undisputed Champion. After this loss, Solo Sikoa asserted authority within the group, dismissing Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman from their faction. Not content with this change, Sikoa went further by bringing in new members: Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, forming a revamped version of The Bloodline under his leadership.

Currently, conflicts are arising within the group, as Sikoa’s followers, who are new to the leadership role, are butting heads with the original members, who are still under Reigns. In the most recent WWE Crown Jewel event of 2024, Sikoa and his team emerged victorious against Reigns’ group. In the midst of this ongoing Bloodline feud, it has been officially announced that WWE has brought on board Lance Anoa’i, a well-known member from the respected Anoa’i family.

Lance Anoa’i officially signs with WWE during summer

In October last year, Lance Anoa’i, previously known for his work in Major League Wrestling (MLW), disclosed on X that he had secured his departure from MLW. Rumors soon arose suggesting that he might be transferring to WWE, with possibilities of joining The Bloodline.

It’s now official, as Fightful Select reports that Lance Anoa’i signed a contract with WWE this past summer. Unfortunately, he is currently recovering from an injury and won’t be ready to step into the ring for a while. At present, there are no immediate plans for him in WWE’s creative team.

Recently, Lance Anoa’i was spotted in NXT attire alongside other WWE Performance Center talent. The photo shared online by referee Felix Fernandez. For those unfamiliar with him, Lance Anoa’i is the son of Samu and the nephew of Afa Jr.

Back in 2019, some spectators might remember his short-lived WWE stint where he squared off against Shane McMahon on RAW. Post their fight, McMahon and Drew McIntyre assaulted him. However, following the match, it was Roman Reigns, his relative, who came to his rescue.

Upon completing his WWE contract, Anoa’i might eventually align himself with The Bloodline after getting well. It’s intriguing to speculate about where his allegiances may lead. Fans ponder if he will support Roman Reigns, the one who rescued him in 2019, or Solo Sikoa, the current leader of a formidable group.
