As a longtime WWE fan with memories of Becky Lynch’s electrifying reign as the Women’s World Champion etched deep within my gaming heart, I find myself both intrigued and saddened by her prolonged absence. It seems like an eternity since The Man graced our screens, leaving many of us craving for more of her unparalleled in-ring prowess and charismatic presence.
Becky Lynch, who once held the Women’s World Championship title, has been out of action with WWE since May. Since then, there has been a lot of discussion about her employment agreement with the promotion. She relinquished her Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan during the WWE King and Queen of the Ring event.
After my recent defeat, I swiftly exercised my rematch option on the May 27 episode of RAW. Two days later, I stepped into a steel cage against my adversary, fully committed to emerging victorious. Unfortunately, Morgan managed to hold onto her title, as Dominik Mysterio intervened during our match alongside The Judgment Day and Braun Strowman.
In the heat of the match, Strowman rammed towards The Judgment Day group, unintentionally propelling Dominik Mysterio into the cage entrance. This collision caused the door to swing into Lynch’s face at a crucial moment when she was trying to leave, pushing her back into the ring and enabling Morgan to step out of the cage, thus preserving her title.
After her second loss against Morgan, Lynch has been absent from WWE shows. It’s said that her contract ended on June 1, and she’s since chosen to take a prolonged break from the WWE.
Meanwhile, on several occasions, Morgan has stated that he “retired” Becky Lynch. However, as per Jonathan Coachman’s latest update on the “Backstage Pass” podcast, it seems that Lynch asked for a substantial increase in her contract during negotiations, but WWE apparently turned down her demand.

Latest update on Becky Lynch’s WWE contract
Fightful Select responded to Jonathan Coachman’s remarks. Essentially, Coachman implied that if the company had consented to the same terms, Becky Lynch likely would have made an appearance on the show.
Contrary to Coachman’s claims, insiders at WWE refuted his statements, confirming that the WWE maintains a positive relationship with Lynch. They appreciate her choice to take a break after her recent stint and have shown respect for it. Furthermore, if Lynch had been interested in renegotiating a contract before her break, an arrangement would have been made by now. Additionally, the report dismissed the two million dollar deal figure, suggesting that Lynch’s actual contract value is likely significantly more than that amount.
Despite recent speculation, Becky Lynch and WWE remain on friendly terms. It’s said that if Lynch wished to renew her deal before taking time off, WWE might have accommodated it.
