When is the Samson release date?
Starting from November 29, 2024, you’ll have the option to either rent or own the movie titled Samson across all North American digital HD platforms (internet, cable, and satellite), as well as DVD stores.
Titled as “Shakespearean Reservoir Dogs,” this film is a blend of comedy and tragedy, masterfully directed by Ruth Du (Murdered by Morning, The Deadliest Lie), who co-wrote the screenplay with David Harry Yoon (Fractured, Molly at the Arcadia). In the lead roles, we have Alice Lee (The Union, My Adventures with Superman) as Emma, Ryan Dance (Eating Cars) as Dale, Will Brittain (Wayward, The Road to Galena) as Drew, and Emilio Garcia-Sanchez (Love in the Time of Corona) as Joe. Ashley Cohen, Claire Brooks, and Alice Lee produce this film, with Justin Alpern taking on the role of cinematographer.
In a statement, Du expressed that Samson is similar to a hard candy with a hidden sweetness, enclosed in a glossy foil of a heartbreaking tale. He shared his fascination for characters who are not as they appear and for untangling intricate yet relatable relationships. His intention was to create a film about race without explicitly focusing on it.
