As a die-hard WWE fan with years of wrestling fandom under my belt, I can confidently say that Liv Morgan’s journey has been nothing short of electrifying! From her surprise return at the Royal Rumble to her history-making victory as the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion, she’s proven herself time and again.
Last weekend, Liv Morgan created history as she became the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion in WWE Women’s World Championship, overcoming Nia Jax from SmackDown in a thrilling match to win the eagerly awaited title.
2021 turned out to be an extraordinary year for Morgan, marked by her unexpected comeback at the Royal Rumble. Although she didn’t fight at WrestleMania 40, the WWE had grand designs for her. Post WrestleMania, a feud with Rhea Ripley was on the cards, but Ripley’s shoulder injury necessitated a shift in strategies.
While Ripley was out of action for a while, Morgan clinched the Women’s World Championship by besting Becky Lynch. Her victories didn’t end there, as her narrative involving Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio during the summer swiftly gained popularity among fans.

Dominik Mysterio ultimately aligned himself with Morgan in her feud with Ripley, and this partnership proved incredibly successful. Recently, Raquel Rodriguez also joined their team. With Morgan achieving such remarkable back-to-back successes, the question now is who will challenge her next.
Liv Morgan set to clash with Iyo Sky for WWE women’s world championship
Recently, it came to light that WWE intended to record the November 4th episode of RAW in Saudi Arabia. Subsequent reports have disclosed more information about this upcoming event. The show included a segment where Liv Morgan was seen celebrating her Crown Jewel Championship victory against Nia Jax.
Instead, Morgan and Rodriguez’s celebration was cut short by the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, who proposed a tag-team match with them on the spot. But Adam Pearce disliked this idea and instead suggested a battle royal to decide Morgan’s next title contender.
In this grand showdown, notable figures such as Iyo Sky, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Lyra Valkyria, and Maxxine Dupri took center stage. Eventually, it was Iyo Sky who triumphed, knocking out Valkyria, thus earning her position as the top challenger for Morgan’s title.
In the Battle Royal, Sky emerges victorious, securing her position as the top challenger for the Women’s World Championship title.

The specific date for their championship clash hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s likely to happen during the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames, slated for November 30 in Canada.
