For over a decade now, an extraordinary passage – known as a ‘gate’ – linking our world and another dimension has appeared. Individuals with extraordinary abilities, referred to as ‘hunters’, have since emerged. These hunters employ their supernatural powers to explore and conquer dungeons within the gates for sustenance. Among these hunters, Sung Jinwoo is regarded as the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind. One day, he stumbles upon a double dungeon – a high-level dungeon concealed inside a lower one. In a critical state, Jinwoo finds himself facing a mysterious quest prompt. On the brink of death, Jinwoo chooses to accept this quest, making him the sole individual capable of leveling up.
