As a seasoned gamer and TV enthusiast, I’ve seen more episodes than I care to count – but that doesn’t mean I don’t get excited for Halloween specials! The Big 5 networks have some spooky treats in store on Thursday, Oct. 31, and I can hardly wait!
After completing your trick-or-treating adventures with the little ones, here’s what you can expect from the major television networks on Halloween night, October 31st. Let me share some of their scheduled programs for you!
On tonight’s schedule, there will be no fresh episodes on one particular network. ABC has chosen to air repeats instead, a decision that makes sense given all their TGIT shows aired special Halloween-themed episodes last week. This suggests that they planned for Halloween night to be filled with reruns.
Ghosts, Found, and more
Each season, the show features an episode centered around Halloween themes. This year, the episode coincides with actual Halloween, and it’s expected to be a peaceful night for Woodstone Manor. However, peace won’t last as the ghosts have taken a liking to Patience’s suggestion of putting Sam on trial for witchcraft. Given Patience’s powers, it’s likely that events will take an unexpected turn at some point.
Currently, FOX is airing fresh episodes of its Thursday series following a break for the entire week due to the World Series. However, at this moment, there are no indications that the World Series will extend to Game 6, so the shows should proceed as planned.
Tonight on NBC, you can expect an evening filled with suspenseful stories. The night kicks off with “Law & Order”, followed by the latest installment of “Found”. As Lacey recalls fragments of her ordeal in captivity at Sir’s hands, this could potentially guide Trent and his team towards Sir. However, it remains to be seen if Gabi will manage to catch up and continue collaborating with him to rescue the missing persons.
Tonight, instead of airing the usual full night of reruns for shows like 911, Press Your Luck, and Grey’s Anatomy, there are some changes in the schedule. In place of a 911 rerun, we’ll be watching a rerun of Press Your Luck. And instead of a Grey’s Anatomy rerun at the end of the night, we’ll get two reruns of Doctor Odyssey. This seems to be a strategy to promote the new series.
