As a lifelong fan of the beloved bear from Darkest Peru, I am absolutely thrilled to see the first trailer for “Paddington in Peru“! The adventures of this charming and curious bear have brought endless joy to my heart since the first movie graced our screens back in 2014. With each new installment, I find myself eagerly anticipating the next chapter in Paddington’s life, and the third film promises to be no exception.
Here’s the first trailer for ‘Paddington’s Journey to Peru’, which gives a sneak peek into the exciting new movie where our beloved bear character sets out on a quest in Peru to discover the amazing woman who took care of him during his childhood.
What happens in the Paddington in Peru trailer?
In the latest preview, Paddington embarks on a journey to Peru along with his loved ones in search of Aunt Lucy, the bear who took care of him and is believed to have disappeared from the Bear Retirement Home.

In the year 2014, the initial Paddington film made its debut. This live-action comedy was well-received by audiences and generated revenue of more than $282 million, which is quite impressive considering its production budget was only $65 million.
In 2017, the follow-up movie to Paddington, titled “Paddington 2,” was another hit, earning $227 million at the box office despite having a production budget of just $40 million. For four years, it enjoyed widespread praise and boasted a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Furthermore, it garnered three BAFTA nominations: Outstanding British Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor for Hugh Grant.
As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled to share that Paddington will grace our screens in the UK on November 8, 2024. However, my fellow US fans have a bit of a wait ahead – we’ll get to enjoy Paddington’s Peruvian adventure in cinemas only from January 17, 2025.
