As a die-hard Star Wars fan who’s seen every episode since the original trilogy premiered, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and apprehension about The Mandalorian & Grogu movie. On one hand, Pedro Pascal’s portrayal of Din Djarin was nothing short of phenomenal, and it would be a shame to see him absent from the suit for this big-screen adventure.
It appears that some intriguing details have surfaced regarding the upcoming “Star Wars” production titled “The Mandalorian & Grogu“. As per recent reports, this movie, set for release on May 22, 2026, is said to have already completed its filming.
Nevertheless, this information doesn’t seem to address a significant query regarding the movie that many, including us, might have: what extent was Pedro Pascal involved? Given that filming for the production was happening in California, it’s worth noting that Pascal, who portrays the main character Mandalorian Din Djarin and more recently Grogu’s adoptive father, has been engrossed in filming Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic in London, England.
Though Pascal might not have donned the Mandalorian armor throughout the filming of “The Mandalorian” on Disney Plus, he did contribute his voice to the Star Wars character. Over three seasons, Pascal, together with an exceptionally gifted ensemble, captured the affection of both veteran and modern Star Wars enthusiasts.
