In Season 2, the Executor is portrayed as a terrifying figure in Jin-su’s recurring nightmares. These nightmares persisted even after his revival. As a result, Jin-su felt compelled to locate Park Jung-ja, since she too had undergone resurrection like him. However, when he finally met Jung-ja, she informed him that she wasn’t experiencing visions similar to his.
What happened to Park Jung-ja in Hellbound Season 2?
Park Jung-ja faced a threat to her life, as Sung-jip initially wanted to eliminate her because he perceived her as a potentially dangerous figure if allowed to live. This situation unfolded while Sung-jip was against the New Truth movement. However, his reasons shifted when Secretary Lee understood that controlling New Truth would be difficult. Instead, Sung-jip decided to eliminate Jung-ja to prevent others from discovering and utilizing her as a weapon.
Fortunately for Jung-ja, Hye-jin managed to rescue and shield her from Sung-jip and all those pursuing her. In the finale of Season 2, Jung-ja was reunited with her long-lost son who had grown up by then, eight years having passed since she was separated from him due to the decree that sent her to a living death.
What happened to the Hellbound baby in Season 2?
In Season 2, Hye-jin was surreptitiously nurturing the baby from Hellbound. Her original parents, Young-Jae and Jin-ah, sacrificed their lives to shield her in the latter part of Season 1, after it seemed she had miraculously survived a ruling that doomed her to hell.
At the close of Season 2, Hye-jin extracted the child from the hidden laboratory and continued nurturing her. Besides this, she vowed to disclose details about the child’s biological parents, their love story, and sacrifices made for her. However, it turned out that the child had perished, contrary to general assumption – she had been fatally burned alongside her parents by their executioners. In an extraordinary twist, the child was revived just moments later, a miraculous resurrection that left everyone astounded.
