As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in cinema and storytelling, I must say that the upcoming collaboration between Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli is undoubtedly one of the most exciting projects to look forward to in the Indian film industry. With a budget of Rs 900 – 1000 crores, it’s clear that we are dealing with something truly monumental here.
The highly anticipated movie starring Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli, often called SSMB29 or SSRMB these days, has been creating quite a buzz recently. As per a report from Gulte, it seems they intend to start filming in January 2025. The director is reportedly on the hunt for the ideal shooting locations.
According to recent updates, the script for the upcoming movie has been completely set, and production is planned on a massive scale, with a budget estimated between Rs 900 and 1000 crores. Previously, at a public gathering, the film’s screenwriter, Vijayendra Prasad (SS Rajamouli’s father), shared that it took them approximately 2 years to craft the movie’s storyline.
This acclaimed scriptwriter has additionally verified that the upcoming film will introduce an unprecedented world to viewers, one never before depicted in Indian cinema. Based on current gossip, this movie is being touted as a “worldwide production” and apparently an exhilarating adventure spanning various continents.
Additionally, neither the entire team of actors and technicians nor their roles have been definitively decided. There’s even talk that Mahesh Babu’s character might be modeled after Lord Hanuman from Hindu folklore.
I recently found myself immersed in Mahesh Babu’s cinematic journey, and in his latest work, “Guntur Kaaram,” directed by the talented Trivikram Srinivas, I was captivated. This action-drama unfolded a heartfelt tale of Ramana, a man who yearned to rekindle his bond with his mother who had left him as a child.
The film centers around a man’s efforts to rebuild his bond with his mother while seeking answers as to why she kept her distance from him. The movie boasted a talented cast including Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, and numerous others in significant roles. Unfortunately, it failed to impress at the box office.
In simple terms, Mahesh Babu will be providing the voice for the Telugu-dubbed version of “The Lion King”, specifically for the character of Mufasa. This means that when the film is released in Telugu, Mahesh’s voice will be heard as Mufasa, adding a legendary charm to this adaptation of the orphaned king.
It’s worth noting that the renowned actor Brahmanandam is providing the voice for Pumbaa in the Telugu adaptation, while actor Ali takes on the role of Timon in this version.
