As a seasoned gamer with years of Marvel Snap under my belt, I can’t help but have a love-hate relationship with Devil Dinosaur. One moment he’s a game-changer, the next he’s a heartbreaker. But let’s face it, when you see that card drop, it’s usually game over.
Oh, Devil Dinosaur, such a love-hate relationship we have! If you’ve ever played ranked mode in Marvel Snap, there must have been instances where you were almost certain to win, only for your opponent to drop Devil Dinosaur at a spot and snatch the victory from your grasp.
As a gamer, I’ve come across a tricky card that doesn’t seem to have an effective blockade. Interestingly, these deck configurations excel not only when paired with Devil Dinosaur but stand strong on their own as versatile decks with multiple objectives. They provide numerous paths to victory, making them quite the formidable force in the game.
So, if you can’t beat them, why not join them?
Jubilee Dino
In the majority of these decks, Jubilee and Devil Dinosaur will be our main companions. For this specific deck, it’s crucial to keep many of your cards as both characters have high costs. Additionally, Devil Dinosaur increases its power based on the number of cards you hold in your hand.
Due to the expenses being steep, we’ll manage it organically instead. It’s best to use Jubilee card only when you’ve already drawn Sunspot, to prevent any unintentional acquisition through Jubilee’s power.
Regardless of who you choose, they’ll prove valuable because the deck has been designed that way. The turns 5 and 6 events significantly depend on whether you possess both Odin and Devil Dinosaur in your hand at that time.
As a gamer, “On your fifth turn, unleash Devil Dinosaur. On the sixth turn, position Odin where Jubilee currently stands. This will allow Odin to reactivate her ability, resulting in another powerful ally joining us at a location.
In simpler terms, if you don’t have both Devil Dinosaur and Odin in your deck, feel free to play any 5-cost card, preferably Devil Dinosaur. If by Turn 6 you haven’t drawn Odin, you can count on getting America Chavez instead.
On Reveal Dino
Here they are, our cherished companions, Devil Dinosaur and Odin (previously known as Jubilee)! With their dynamic duo back in action, we’re set to rely on them once more for our main focus – provided we can draw them accurately.
Should fortune not favor us, let’s concentrate on collaborating with our reliable friends such as Sunspot, The Collector, Jessica Jones, and Namor in setting up our establishments instead.
If we aim to depict characters such as Storm, White Queen, or Cable, we could acquire necessary locations by using Cable or White Queen to take them from your deck, or by canceling their effects with Storm.
Jubilee Wave
Devil Dinosaur and Jubilee’s friend group has grown! Be nice to their new friend, Wave.
This time, our objective remains to assemble the team of Odin and Jubilee, but if needed, we can also deploy the Devil Dinosaur or any other higher-cost cards during turns 4 or 5 in the game.
Regardless of any unexpected events, you can count on playing Quicksilver in the first turn, followed by Domino in the second, and America Chavez in the sixth. This means you always have cards to play, as it’s ensured that the ones not beneficial for your strategy will be drawn instead of Jubilee’s cards.
Your strategy is to minimize the number of cards played, primarily to amplify Devil Dinosaur to extraordinary levels, effectively annihilating your opponent upon the second activation of Jubilee’s ability in conjunction with Odin.
Additionally, it’s likely that you’ve come across these specific strategies in battles before. Consequently, understanding your adversary’s tactics might improve your chances of victory, or possibly even lead you to align with them!
