The Fab Five’s return to our screens is like a breath of fresh air, especially during these trying times. On October 25th, Netflix confirmed that season 9 of “Queer Eye” will premiere on December 11th, featuring eight episodes, each approximately 45 minutes long. In this new season, the team travels to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they’ll lend their unique skills to transform the lives of a new group of people. Who else could bring some glamour to Sin City if not the Fab Five?
For the ninth season of Queer Eye, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Tan France return, but Bobby Berk is no longer part of the series as he departed following Season 8. In his place, we have interior designer Jeremiah Brent stepping in, who’s quite popular for collaborating with husband and fellow designer, Nate Berkus on various TV projects. So, a warm welcome to Queer Eye, Jeremiah!

Hey fellow gamers! Back in November 2023, Netflix decided to keep our favorite Fab Five rolling with a ninth season even before the premiere of season 8 in January 2024. Berk’s departure from the hit reality series “Queer Eye” was announced, but at that time, there was no clue it would be the grand finale. So don’t sweat it, the show’s future looks bright! As for season 10, we’ll have to wait and see, but I’ve got a feeling they still have plenty of heartwarming transformations up their sleeves.
In the backdrop of Las Vegas for Season 9, the show introduces a vibrant array of possibilities. From a former showgirl to a hardworking librarian, the Fab Five are gracefully navigating Sin City. This season, they’re bringing their charm to those who could benefit from it. It’s an enjoyable escape just before the holiday hustle and bustle and the arrival of the new year.

It isn’t clear what specifically caused Berk to leave Queer Eye before season 9, but it’s believed that conflicts with his co-stars may have led him to depart and pursue other projects. Berk acknowledged a dispute he had with Tan France when announcing his departure, stating that the decision was tough but necessary, without providing additional details.
Of course, just like an old proverb states, the show will carry on! Brent is a fantastic newcomer to our cast, and I have no doubt that viewers will continue to be charmed by the eight fresh episodes of season 9 when they air on December 11. In the meantime, it’s always a good idea to revisit all the previous seasons and specials as we gear up for the excitement and feelings ahead!
