Upcoming: ComingSoon will unveil a special, exclusive trailer for the movie “Me Little Me,” marking the first appearance of this film by writer-director Elizabeth Ayiku. The rights to this preview have been acquired by Buffalo 8.
In addition to unveiling the trailer, it was simultaneously disclosed that Buffalo 8 plans to debut their movie on November 8, 2024, across multiple digital platforms such as Apple TV/iTunes, Amazon Prime, and various other online marketplaces. A share of the film’s initial sales through Apple (from November 1-7) will also be contributed to Project Heal, an organization dedicated to eliminating structural, healthcare, and financial obstacles in the treatment of eating disorders.

In the narrative of “Me Little Me,” we follow the journey of Mya, a woman on the path to healing after battling an eating disorder. Simultaneously, she faces the challenges that come with her professional, romantic, and personal lives.

At the initial phase of overcoming an eating disorder, Mya (Williams) experiences loneliness and mounting stress due to her professional advancement in a predominantly male field. Amid managing her mental wellness, personal connections, and tough workload, she grapples with her past and feels swamped by everyday struggles. As her life spirals out of control, Mya’s narrative unfolds the grueling and isolating path towards discovering a sliver of self-acceptance.
The movie titled “Me Little Me” is the first feature film by writer-director Elizabeth Ayiku. This production draws partial inspiration from Ayiku’s personal experiences and challenges. The cast includes A’Keyah Dasia Williams, Shamar Phippie, Tamir Elbassir, Elena Kornilova, Xiaowan Jin, Frania del Carmen, Kristian Ventura, Kay Capasso, Mariel Flores, and Judith Eisenberg.
