As a long-time Batman fan with a soft spot for his rogue gallery, I am absolutely thrilled to hear that Rupert Thorne will be joining the DC Universe! This crime boss has always been a menacing presence in Gotham and it’s exciting to see him stepping into the animated world. Benjamin Byron Davis is an excellent choice to bring this character to life, given his impressive acting credentials. I can already imagine the chilling lines he’ll deliver as Thorne!

Recently on Instagram, actor Benjamin Byron Davis announced that he’ll be portraying the character Rupert Thorne in an upcoming animated show. In a photo share, Davis mentioned a comment he left on one of Gunn’s pictures, to which Gunn responded, “Hello, Rupert Thorne.
Excited to announce that Rupert Thorne is joining the DCU, along with the fantastic cast put together by James Gunn for Creature Commandos,” said Davis on his post.
