Having grown up watching her as the beloved Gretchen Wieners in Mean Girls and later enjoying her voice work in various animated shows, it’s always a delight to see her back on screen. Netflix has unveiled the authentic teaser trailer for its upcoming holiday romantic comedy titled “Hot Frosty,” featuring actors Lacey Chabert from Mean Girls and Dustin Milligan of Schitt’s Creek. The movie is set to debut on streaming platforms starting November 13, 2024.
In the latest chapter of her career, Chabert has ventured into another romantic comedy film. Since 2010, she has starred in more than 30 Hallmark Christmas movies. Additionally, her talents extend beyond holiday romance stories; she is also recognized for providing voice-overs in popular animated series like Transformers: Rescue Bots, Family Guy, and Young Justice.

What happens in the Hot Frosty trailer?
The video highlights the magical romance between Chabert’s Cathy and Milliagan’s Jack, a snowman who turned into a real human during Christmas. It teases how Jack will make Cathy fall in love with him through his sweet and crazy antics. The trailer also features a Mean Girls easter egg involving former co-stars Chabert and Lindsay Lohan.
Two years following her husband’s passing, Kathy astonishingly animates a strikingly handsome snowman! Due to his innocence, this snowman assists Kathy in finding joy, emotion, and love once more. As they grow fond of each other, just before the festive season and prior to his melting, these two embark on a romantic journey.
The movie titled “Hot Frosty” was helmed by Jerry Ciccoritti from a script penned by Russell Hainline. Notable actors in this film include Katy Mixon Greer, Lauren Holly, Chrishell Stause, Sherry Miller, Dan Lett, Matthew Stefiuk, Heleene Lohan Cameron, Allan Royal, Sarah Desouza-Coelho, Bobby Daniels, with Joe Lo Truglio and Craig Robinson. Aren Prupas and Jonas Prupas served as executive producers, while Joel S. Rice and Michael Barbuto took on the roles of producers.
