As a dedicated fan who has witnessed the highs and lows of General Hospital’s storylines, I must say that Violet Finn’s journey has been nothing short of heart-wrenching yet inspiring. Her character, played beautifully by Jophielle Love, has touched many hearts, including mine.

Violet Finn, played by Jophielle Love, effortlessly charmed “General Hospital” viewers with her endearing and adorable demeanor, as well as her heartwarming bond with Hamilton Finn. This sudden departure from the series left fans rather disheartened. Yet, it has also sparked intrigue among many viewers about who Violet’s parents might be.

Who are Violet Finn’s parents in General Hospital?

Violet Finn’s parents in General Hospital are Dr. Hamilton Finn and Hayden Barnes.

In the earlier stages of Violet’s life, Hayden Barnes, Violet’s mother, predominantly raised her away from Port Charles and her father, Hamilton Finn. Finn thought Hayden had experienced a miscarriage because she had deceived him about it. Later on, however, Hayden took Violet to Port Charles for medical care. Subsequently, Violet was put under the guardianship of her father before Hayden departed from town once more.

At first, Violet found it tough due to her mother’s absence, but later she developed a strong connection with her father and expanded her family, which included her grandfather Gregory, uncle Chase, and Anna Devane, who was Hamilton’s partner at that moment. Anna took on a nurturing role in Violet’s life, acting much like a mother figure to her.

Sadly, Anna and Hamilton’s romance didn’t last, leaving Violet deeply disappointed. An additional sorrow came her way when Gregory lost his life after receiving an ALS diagnosis post Chase’s marriage to Brook Lynn.

The unfortunate events in Violet’s life deepened as Hamilton, burdened by sorrow and remorse over Gregory’s death, turned to alcohol consumption. Fearing the harmful effects this might have on Violet, Tracy and Chase urged Hamilton to seek treatment in rehab or risk losing guardianship of Violet to Chase. After much persuasion, Hamilton agreed to enter rehab, with Violet being placed under the care of the Quartermaine family. To guarantee a secure and ordinary upbringing for Violet, Chase and Brook Lynn took extra precautions.

Hamilton Finn eventually left rehabilitation without any on-screen scenes depicting it. As reported by Jophielle Love, Violet has also reconciled with him in events that were not shown on screen.
