Phaedra Parks and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, went home in Dancing with the Stars Week 6.
During Week 6 of DWTS, contestants danced to cherished Disney tunes, leaving both audience and judges in awe. Parks and Chmerkovskiy opted for an evil jazz performance this time around, perfectly matching their steps to the “Cruella de Vil” rhythm from 101 Dalmatians. Despite delivering a captivating villainous dance, Phaedra missed a few steps occasionally, a detail that didn’t go unnoticed by the judges.
Derek Hough praised the pair’s choreography and overall concept, commenting that it resembled a Broadway performance. However, he noted that they seemed to pause at times, waiting for their partner. Despite this, he admired their strong confidence, awarding them a score of 24 out of 30.
In this episode, contestants had an additional opportunity to earn extra points beyond their individual acts – team dances returned! Each pair was assigned to either Team Larks or Team Thunder, both teams delivered outstanding performances. Unfortunately, a couple from Team Thunder got eliminated. Yet, it was Team Larks who emerged victorious with a score of 27.
