At New York Comic Con’s Main Stage, the initial preview for the eagerly awaited second season of the post-apocalyptic horror drama was revealed. Notable panels for The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol were held there, with Scott M. Gimple, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Gaius Charles, Željko Ivanek, and Dascha Polanco in attendance.
It was moderated by Terrifier 3’s Chris Jericho.

Just announced, a sneak peek trailer for the upcoming second season of The Walking Dead spin-off has been unveiled, hinting at its return to AMC and AMC+ in the spring of 2025.

2023 saw the premiere of the initial season of a post-apocalyptic TV show, which marked the debut of The Walking Dead’s first sequel and its fifth series as a whole. This inaugural season wrapped up in 2023, and it was announced that very same year that a second season would follow.
The first season also saw the return of Cohan and Morgan as the fan-favorite characters from the original series. Both of them will return for Season 2 to reprise their respective roles.
The summary says: “The Walking Dead spin-off titled ‘Dead City’ focuses on beloved characters Maggie (played by Cohan) and Negan (portrayed by Morgan). They journey into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, severed from the mainland for years. This decaying city is inhabited by the undead and survivors who have fashioned New York into a world characterized by chaos, peril, aesthetics, and fear. In season two, as the struggle for control of Manhattan intensifies, Maggie and Negan find themselves on opposing sides.
