As a lifelong gamer and a connoisseur of all things Hollywood, I can hardly contain my excitement for Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming anthology series, Secret Level! The star-studded cast announcement at this past weekend’s New York Comic-Con has left me absolutely spellbound.
Over the weekend, Amazon MGM Studios participated in New York Comic-Con. On Saturday, the team responsible for the upcoming Secret Level anthology series conducted a panel. During this event, they shared more details about the Blur Studios project. At the panel, it was announced for the first time who will be voicing the characters in the series. The cast includes several well-known contemporary stars and even some veteran Hollywood actors.
Notable actors gracing the cast of The Secret Level include the renowned trio from Hollywood’s elite, Arnold Schwarzenegger (known for The Terminator, Conan, Predator), Kevin Hart (famous for Jumanji, Borderlands), and Keanu Reeves (recognized for John Wick, The Matrix). Other significant contributors include Temuera Morrison, Ariana Greenblatt, Heaven Hart, Emily Swallow, Gabriel Luna, Ricky Whittle, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Merle Dandridge, Claudia Doumit, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Clive Standen, Laura Bailey, and Michael Beach.
The main characters’ parts in this project are largely a secret, but it’s been revealed that Schwarzenegger will be the leading star. He’ll portray an arrogant and entitled warrior king in Secret Level’s short film adaptation of New World: Aeternum, a role where he finds himself in over his head upon arriving at the island of Aeternum.
The 15-episode series titled “Secret Level” will unfold tales from various game universes, including well-known titles such as Mega Man and Pac-Man, along with lesser-known indie games like Spelunky and Sifu. Beginning on Tuesday, December 10, two new episodes will be released weekly on Prime Video.
