In a rare reunion after three decades, screen legends Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan graced the same movie set once more in “Vettaiyan,” directed by TJ Gnanavel. Now, intriguing behind-the-scenes footage has emerged, showcasing an unseen scene with both actors that didn’t make it to the original theater release.
In an omitted part of the film, Rajinikanth appears as Athiyan, accompanied by his on-screen wife, Manju Warrier portraying Thara. During their visit to Amitabh Bachchan’s character, Sathyadev, a conversation ensues between Athiyan and Sathyadev while Thara attempts to console another character. The discussion revolves around the investigations that Athiyan is conducting.
The conversation between them shifts with their differing ideologies on handling criminals are met. In this instance, Amitabh Bachchan easily captivates the audience and Rajinikanth with his speech.
