As a seasoned gamer and theme park enthusiast, the news of Universal Epic Universe‘s opening date has sent a thrill through my veins! With my memories of Super Mario Kart races and Harry Potter duels, this new park promises an immersive experience that I can hardly wait to be a part of.
The official announcement for the launch date of Universal’s Epic Universe, a fresh, exciting theme park encompassing Super Nintendo World, additional Harry Potter experiences, and many other amazing offerings, has been made by Universal Orlando Resort.
When does Universal Epic Universe open?
The grand Universal Epic Universe is slated to debut on May 22, 2025. This expansive park will encompass five distinct themed areas: Celestial Park, a celestial-themed realm; The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, an extension of the beloved Harry Potter series; Super Nintendo World, a gaming enthusiast’s dream; How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, based on the popular dragon movie franchise; and Dark Universe, a mysterious and intriguing area.
Additionally, the theme park will be complemented by the recently introduced Universe Helios Grand Hotel, a striking Loews establishment boasting 500 rooms and unique perspectives of the amusement park.
Starting next week, I’ll have the thrill of getting my hands on tickets for Universal Epic Universe! There are multiple ways to secure these coveted passes, such as:
- A variety of multi-day tickets and vacation packages that include three, four or five days of admission to Universal’s theme parks — including one day admission to Epic Universe. These products will go on sale on Tuesday, October 22.
- Reservations for Universal Helios Grand Hotel will open on Tuesday, October 22 for stays beginning May 22, 2025.
- Annual Passholders have the exclusive opportunity to purchase single-day tickets to Universal Epic Universe before they go on sale to the general public. Passholders can take advantage of this priority opportunity beginning Thursday, October 24.
Furthermore, visitors can tailor their holiday experience by combining a multi-night stay at a Universal hotel with diverse ticket choices for Universal’s theme parks.
In simple terms, the Universal Epic Universe is an extraordinary transformation of a theme park designed to deeply engage visitors with timeless, multi-generational tales, allowing them to star as the hero in their very own adventure.
Situated merely a few miles from the existing attractions of Universal Orlando, the upcoming Epic Universe promises immersive, multi-sensory environments with exceptional design and cutting-edge technology, revolutionizing theme park entertainment. Visitors will traverse five intricately themed realms, a myriad of distinctive dining, shopping, and entertainment options, and much more. Additionally, Epic Universe will be in close proximity to three new Universal hotels, managed by Loews Hotels & Co – the Universal Stella Nova Resort, Universal Terra Luna Resort, and the grand Universal Helios Hotel, a Loews property, all situated within the theme park premises.
