Mattel is still expanding its iconic items into the realm of films, as they revealed on Wednesday that a real-life View-Master film is under development.

The film is currently being produced together with Sony Pictures Entertainment, and it will focus on the legendary 3D image toy that first emerged in 1939. Over time, this toy has gained significant cultural recognition, and has been featured in numerous other films and commercials, with its most notable appearances being within the Toy Story series.
