As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can’t help but feel a nostalgic thrill at the prospect of Riot Games showcasing Jinx for their highly anticipated title, 2XKO. Having played every League of Legends champion since their inception, it’s been quite the journey witnessing Jinx evolve from her early appearances to becoming a central character in Arcane.
In their ongoing efforts for a 2025 launch of 2XKO, the development team has disclosed that they will unveil an updated appearance for the character Jinx. Initially seen in early promotional content for 2XKO, Jinx hasn’t been playable yet. Given that Arcane Season 2 is about to premiere on Netflix, Riot Games believes now is the perfect moment to shine a light on Jinx within the context of 2XKO. This reveal will take place in the form of a showcase scheduled for November.
Riot Games unveiled the specifics of their upcoming 2XKO event in a press release and across 2XKO’s social media platforms. On November 11, 2024, Riot Games plans to debut an exclusive showcase where we’ll get our first glimpse at Jinx’s revamped appearance and mechanics within the context of 2XKO. Previously seen in some early previews as far back as 2022, Jinx has been conspicuously absent from any recent reveals or playtesting sessions for the game until now.

It’s not hard to understand why 2XKO is putting the spotlight on Jinx in November. Coincidentally, Arcane Season 2 is also set to premiere around the same time. Given that Jinx has been a key figure throughout the series, it makes sense to draw attention to her as the show returns. In other words, with Arcane coming back, it’s an ideal moment to celebrate the blue-haired outlaw.
