What is Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl about?
In the upcoming episode, Gromit’s worry about Wallace relying too much on his inventions becomes evident when Wallace creates a ‘smart’ garden gnome that appears to have a life of its own. As it turns out, an old enemy could be manipulating events from behind the scenes. It’s up to Gromit to confront dark forces and protect Wallace, for if he doesn’t, Wallace might never invent again!
In this upcoming film, we see the reemergence of Feathers McGraw – a villain from the Wallace & Gromit series that made its debut in 1993’s Wallace & Gromit: The Misguided Trousers.
Ben Whitehead steps into the role of Wallace in the latest Wallace & Gromit movie, taking over from Peter Sallis, who originally voiced Wallace and sadly passed away in 2017. The ensemble voice cast also features Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan, and Lenny Henry.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement to share that “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl” will have its grand debut on the final day of this year’s AFI Fest, specifically on October 27, 2024. This extraordinary event will unfold at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre, where it will be presented as part of the film’s Red Carpet Premieres section. It’s going to be an unforgettable night for all Wallace and Gromit enthusiasts!
In 1989, Nick Park, the inventor of Wallace & Gromit, collaborates with Merlin Crossingham in the direction of this film. Mark Burton crafts the script for the movie, and Richard Beek assumes the role of the producer.
The movie will then be released on Netflix (except for in the UK) on December 25, 2024.
