The first movie left me on the edge of my seat with its chilling narrative and haunting visuals, and I’m eager to see how the story unfolds in this sequel.
Paramount Pictures recently unveiled the concluding trailer for the much-awaited horror sequel, “Smile 2,” following the critically-acclaimed 2022 movie. This R-rated movie will be screening in theatres starting this coming Friday, October 18th.
Skye Riley, a renowned global pop star, is on the brink of embarking on a new world tour. However, she starts encountering strange and alarming incidents that defy explanation. As these events become more frequent and intense, Skye finds herself struggling to cope with both the supernatural occurrences and the demands of stardom. To regain control over her life and prevent it from spiraling further out of control, she must confront her haunting past.

The concluding preview emphasizes the frightening scenes from the sequel, where Naomi Scott‘s character encounters a malevolent presence disguised as individuals with eerie grins. Additionally, it hints at her relentless will to overcome the curse.
Title 2 of Smile is penned and helmed by Parker Finn once more. The initial version was inspired by his 2020 short film titled Laura Hasn’t Slept. Joining the cast are Raúl Castillo, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Daphne Zelle, Zebedee Row, and Kyle Gallner, who starred in A Nightmare on Elm Street. The production team includes Finn, Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, Isaac Klausner, and Robert Salerno.
