In August 2024, an additional season was announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival, but specific details such as episode count and filming dates were not disclosed upon the renewal. For several years, Helen had been leading a dual life as both a politician’s wife and an undercover operative for the enigmatic group known as the Black Doves, secretly revealing her spouse’s confidential information to them. However, everything she knew was turned on its head when her husband met with an untimely demise through assassination. Determined to uncover the truth about his murder, Helen now seeks assistance from her longtime friend, Sam Young.
