As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen countless games come and go, but Warframe has always been a unique gem that stands out from the crowd. The upcoming expansion, Warframe: 1999, has piqued my interest like no other update in recent memory. Having played Warframe since its early days, I can’t wait to dive back into the world and see what this new demo offers.
The upcoming major update for Warframe is called Warframe:1999, slated to arrive towards the end of this year. Previously unavailable, players will have the opportunity to experience a sneak peek of the new content via a demo prior to its release.
How to play the Warframe: 1999 demo
As a gamer, I’d say, “To get started with the Warframe 1999 demo, first, you need to download and install the Warframe game on your console or computer. Then, embark on the Awakening and Vor’s Prize quests, which serve as an introductory guide to the world of Warframe.
If you’ve previously experienced Warframe and wrapped up its associated missions, you can jump right in without delay. The demo is scheduled for release as an update to the core Warframe game on October 16, allowing you to download and start playing it immediately.
In this demonstration, you’ll have the chance to assume the role of Arthur, the main character in the Warframe: 1999 expansion and the original design for Excalibur’s Frame. You’ll get to traverse Hollvania, a fresh location, ride an Atomicycle bike, and engage in a unique Exterminate mission.
Completion of the demo entitles you to receive the Protokol Longsword Skin, enabling your character to adopt the appearance of Arthur’s iconic melee weapon.
Is Warframe: 1999 a standalone game?
Sure thing! Warframe: 1999 is not its own separate game; instead, it’s an addition to the original Warframe game. The game’s story unfolds in two different time periods – the year 1999 and the future of the Origin System wars – and at some point, those worlds will become interconnected when powerful adversaries from the past break through into the present.
In our journey, we find ourselves traveling to the year 1999 for a significant reason – a prominent character named Albrecht Entrati plays a crucial role in the Warframe narrative and must be located. Albrecht has recently become a central figure in Warframe’s ongoing storyline.
