As a dedicated fan of Malayalam cinema, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming OTT release of the psychological thriller “Level Cross” starring Asif Ali, Amala Paul, and Sharaf U Dheen! Having followed Asif’s career since his debut, I can confidently say that he has grown to be one of my favorite actors in the industry.
The psychological thriller film “Level Cross,” starring Asif Ali, Amala Paul, and Sharaf U Dheen, is about to premiere on an online streaming platform. Originally released on July 26, 2024, the movie was directed by newcomer Arfaz Ayub.
Starting October 13, 2024, you can stream the Malayalam film on Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, dubbed versions of the movie in languages such as Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu will also be accessible for streaming.

The film “Level Cross” tells the tale of Raghu, a railway crossing guard, who unexpectedly comes across an enigmatic girl (portrayed by Amala Paul) when she steps off a train at an unusual stop. Stranded in a desolate area with him as her only aid, the movie unfolds a suspenseful narrative that delves into the contrasting elements of the environments they each hail from.
In this movie, Vishal Chandrashekhar was responsible for composing the background music and tracks, while Appu Prabhakar managed the cinematography. Furthermore, this film garnered favorable comments from critics too.
Moving onto Asif Ali’s career, he recently starred as the main character in the movie titled Kishkindha Kaandam, helmed by Dinjith Ayyathan. This suspenseful-thriller narrative revolved around a father and son who lived in the monkey-inhabited Kallepathi forest reserve. The father was a retired military man, while the son held the position of a forest officer.
As the story unfolds, the movie takes a more ominous direction as various hidden truths come to light, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating what will transpire next. Apart from Asif, prominent actors such as Vijayaraghavan and Aparna Balamurali held key roles, while a talented group of performers including Jagadish, Ashokan, Shebin Benson, among others, provided strong supporting performances.
The film garnered praise across the board due to its storytelling and script, ultimately achieving blockbuster status and setting a new record for the actor’s box office success. Notably, the actor will soon take on the lead role in Rekhachithram alongside Anaswara Rajan. Additionally, the actor has other projects in development, including TikiTaka and Thalavan II.
