As a lifelong tech enthusiast with a soft spot for innovative transportation solutions, the We, Robot event left me absolutely spellbound! The unveiling of Tesla’s Cybercab and the 20-passenger Robovan has taken my breath away. I can only imagine the possibilities these game-changers will bring to our urban landscapes.
The We, Robot robotaxi event kicked off with CEO Elon Musk revealing the Cybercab before unveiling the next product, the Robovan. This self-driving bus is designed to comfortably fit 20 passengers.
At the We, Robot event, there were more unveilings than just the usual Cybercab. Alongside this, Tesla presented a 20-seater Robovan as well. This vehicle model boasts a unique design, with its interior mirrored so that passengers seated on one half are facing forward towards their destination, while those on the other half are seated backward.
From the We, Robot conference, there were additional updates, such as a closer examination of Tesla’s AI robot, Optimus, which showcased its ability to walk and move its hands and arms. Furthermore, Tesla disclosed their aim to offer the Cybercab at a price under $30,000. For further details about Tesla and the event, please visit Shacknews’ dedicated Tesla page.
