Sony Pictures has unveiled the formal title and emblem for its much-anticipated upcoming Karate Kid movie. The film will see the comeback of franchise veterans Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan. Slated for release in cinemas on May 30, 2025.

On the specified date (X), Sony announced that the forthcoming installment of their renowned martial arts film series has been named Karate Kid: Legends. This announcement precedes the movie’s panel discussion at New York Comic Con (NYCC) next Friday, October 18, which will take place at the Empire Stage within the Javits Center.

In the upcoming sequel, Danny LaRusso, played by Macchio, will return to his memorable character, while Chan takes on Mr. Han, a role he reprised from the 2010 remake.
