As a long-time DC Comics fan and someone who has followed the ups and downs of various film adaptations over the years, I can confidently say that James Gunn’s DC Universe is shaping up to be an exciting journey for us fans. The cast list for this new universe is nothing short of spectacular, with some familiar faces reprising their roles from the DCEU and a host of fresh talent bringing our beloved characters to life.
Fans are thrilled about Aaron Pierre‘s recent casting as Green Lantern/John Stewart for the DC Universe’s upcoming Lanterns series, but they’re also eagerly wondering who else will be joining the cast in James Gunn’s DCU. The DCU is slated to officially start at the end of this year with Gunn’s first series, Creature Commandos, and it’s expected to gain momentum in Summer 2025 with the release of the first film, Superman.
