Now, building on this success, the visionary filmmaker has revealed his second project featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son, Mokshagna. The upcoming film, “Mahakali,” is planned for production within the Indian state of Bengal, a region revered for its worship of Goddess Kali. Notably, this film marks an exciting milestone as India’s first female superhero project, with Puja Kolluru at the helm as director.

Announcing a significant development, Prasanth Varma revealed the title for his upcoming movie, stating, “I’m thrilled to team up with RKD Studios to introduce a potent new entity into the cosmos. Introducing MAHAKĀLI – a representation of Goddess Kali, the most formidable destroyer of wickedness. This Navratri, we’re shaking things up and reimagining what a superhero can be.

Simultaneously, the Mahakali poster features a girl and a tiger within a circus-like atmosphere, causing panic among spectators as fire consumes the massive Ferris wheel in the background.

According to recent reports, Mahakali transcends its role as a film; it serves as a movement advocating for inclusivity and representation. Smaran Sai handles the music composition, while Sri Nagendra Tangala is in charge of production design.

At present, Prasanth Varma is engrossed in a project named “Simba” alongside Nandamuri Mokshagna. This movie seems to be inspired by an old tale from Hindu mythology. As for the specifics of the PVCU project, these are being kept secret by the production team.
