Netflix has announced the official snapshots and premiere date for their upcoming romantic comedy film, titled “The Merry Gentlemen“. This new production stars Chad Michael Murray, who previously appeared in “Freaky Friday”.
In the summary, a dancer from the big city, who once was, chooses to organize a festive, Christmas-themed review featuring only male performers, in order to protect her parents’ local stage venue.

The movie ‘The Merry Gentlemen’ will first appear on Netflix on November 20, 2024. In this film, Britt Robertson from ‘Tomorrowland’, Marla Sokoloff known for ‘The Practice’, Beth Broderick famed for ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’, Michael Gross recognized for ‘Tremors’, Maxwell Caulfield well-known for ‘Grease 2’, Hector David Jr. popular in ‘Power Rangers Samurai’, Colt Prattes celebrated in ‘This Close’, and Marc Anthony Samuel renowned from ‘General Hospital’ are also part of the cast, playing characters named Ashley, Marie, Lily, Stan, Danny, Ricky, Troy, and Roger respectively.
Ashley, my character, chose to combine her talent in dancing and choreography with some talented men from a bar to create The Merry Gentlemen show. She might or might not be the one to save the bar, according to Robertson (as reported by Tudum). Upon reading the script, she said, “This feels like my type of Christmas movie! I don’t need to participate in the burlesque; instead, I get to enjoy watching these incredibly skilled performers.
This movie has been directed by Peter Sullivan, who collaborated with Sokoloff on the scriptwriting. Alongside Jeffrey Schenck, Barry Barnholtz, Brian Nolan, and Peter Sullivan, they have all taken part in producing it. The artistic team is rounded out by cinematographer Lars Lindstrom and editor Randy Carter.
