When is The Sticky release date?
Beginning December 6, you can stream all six episodes of “The Sticky” on Prime Video. This intriguing series is based on a real-life event, the Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist, which became a sensation in 2012 when more than $18 million worth of maple syrup was mysteriously stolen from Quebec’s national reserves.
The show was developed and produced by the duo Ed Herro and Brian Donovan, with Curtis also involved as an executive producer. Additionally, Jonathan Levine, Gillian Bohrer, Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, Chris Dickie, Michael Dowse, and Lauren Grant serve as executive producers. The production is a joint effort between Blumhouse Television, Comet Pictures, Megamix, and Sphere Media.
The storyline introduces Ruth Landry, a resilient middle-aged maple syrup farmer. Facing the loss of her cherished farm at the hands of bureaucratic powers, she decides to break the law. She forms an unlikely alliance with a fiery Boston gangster and a calm French-Canadian security officer to execute a large-scale heist targeting Quebec’s excess maple syrup stock, worth millions.
