Annika Noelle wants Hope's desire for Finn "dead and buried" on Bold and the Beautiful

As a seasoned gamer who’s seen more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride, I must say that The Bold and the Beautiful‘s latest move with Hope Logan feels like a familiar dance. The soap opera is known for its love triangles, but this one seems to be spiraling into a love hexagon!

In the latest season of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” there appears to be a fresh Hope Logan emerging in terms of her romantic decisions. According to CBS previews, she has set her sights on a new man, and it seems that prediction was correct! The man in question is none other than Carter Walton, who holds the position of COO at Forrester Creations.

spectators have been curious if the storyline would develop between the characters, given they’ve shared more screen time recently and there seemed to be a playful flirtation in their dialogue. This reached a climax when Carter, in my view, made an inappropriate suggestion by proposing that Hope consider modeling lingerie to increase sales for Hope for the Future.

The reintroduction of Brooke’s Bedroom has brought them considerable success, while Hope’s line is facing difficulties. A touch of sensuality that aligns with her brand might be the key to reviving it. Carter’s suggestion that he had been pondering Hope in delicate, lace-trimmed garments flattered her greatly. It was a morale booster for her, and she’s been enjoying his focus on her.

Carter has grown quite fond of Hope that he scrutinized the figures again and again to find her a chance at victory. This extra effort has led to predictions that are more favorable towards her, making Hope extremely happy. Their kiss added even more joy to her day since Carter is an unmarried man. To be honest, she’s still recovering from a massive crush on Dr. John Finnegan, who was married to Steffy Forrester, and had her heart broken multiple times, something that was quite humiliating for everyone involved.

Annika Noelle, in an interview with Soap Opera Digest, echoes the sentiments of many fans regarding the story choice. She believes that Hope’s pursuit of Finn was not only poorly timed but also didn’t reflect well on the Logan family. Consequently, she is hopeful that this relationship has ended and looks forward to the potential new romance with Carter, a man who is currently single.

I hope that is laid dead and buried. I think it was just very misguided. You know, she was really lost after Thomas left and I think she was just searching for anything to cling on to, to keep her head above water … and unfortunately, it happened to be a drunken kiss with Steffy’s husband! It was very inappropriate and something that was pretty out of character for her. I think she was just idealizing someone because she so desperately wanted to believe that there would be someone else out there for her. She just was completely idealizing the wrong man. I’m hoping that especially after everything she went through with Liam, she remembers the lesson that she learned with is, “I don’t want to have to constantly have that battle with another woman over a man.” She deserves someone who sees her worth and who loves her and is loyal to her. Every woman does. I’m hoping that she might fully get that lesson drilled into her head after her mistake with Finn.

However, Carter isn’t without his personal relationship history. Although there have been numerous mentions of his past romance with Quinn Fuller during Eric Forrester’s marriage, as well as his infamous abandonment of Paris Buckingham at the altar for her, the main challenge for Hope and Carter might stem from Hope’s family’s sentiments towards their relationship.

Essentially, Carter is no longer in a romantic relationship with Aunt Katie Logan, as they’ve decided to be friends instead. Hope, being mindful of their past, queried about their current intimate status. Upon hearing that they aren’t, Hope becomes more optimistic about the potential between them. However, it’s important to note that Brooke Logan, Hope’s mother, might not approve, along with Ridge Forrester, Carter’s friend and Hope’s guardian, as well as Hope’s aunts Donna and Katie themselves.

Instead of having the authors portray an uninteresting consensus by writing “everyone was fine with the union,” perhaps they could create intrigue by suggesting some disagreement or unease among the characters. That way, the readers can experience the drama that often arises from internal conflicts within a group.
