Red Dead Redemption PC Version Finally Announced

As a seasoned gamer with memories of playing Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare on consoles, I must say, I’m thrilled to my bones that Rockstar Games is finally bringing this masterpiece to PC! Over a decade later, I can experience John Marston’s tale in all its glory with native 4K resolution, HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. And let’s not forget the spooky thrill of Undead Nightmare, now more terrifying than ever on my PC.


A decade later since its debut, the long-awaited Red Dead Redemption PC edition will go live at digital retailers on October 29, 2024. In a joint endeavor between Rockstar Games and Double Eleven, fans can finally experience John Marston’s tale of revenge and its spin-off, Undead Nightmare, on their personal computers for the first time.

Red Dead Redemption PC version includes Undead Nightmare

The PC version of Red Dead Redemption offers a host of platform-specific improvements. Among these enhancements are native 4K resolution, compatibility with 144Hz refresh rates, support for Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) aspect ratios, HDR10 technology, and full functionality with keyboard and mouse input. Furthermore, the game is compatible with upscaling technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3. Additional features include NVIDIA DLSS frame generation, adjustable draw distances, and shadow quality settings.
