As a dedicated fan who grew up with R.L. Stine’s spine-tingling tales of terror and suspense, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of “Goosebumps: The Vanishing“! Having lived through the original TV series in the ’90s and revisiting the books countless times, I am thrilled to see this beloved franchise continue to evolve.
Disney shared the launch date for “Goosebumps: The Vanishing” on Tuesday, giving fans a glimpse of when the upcoming season in their Disney+ anthology series is set to arrive.
When is the Goosebumps: The Vanishing release date?
On Friday, 10th January 2025, the entire series of Goosebumps: The Vanishing will be unveiled simultaneously on Disney+ and Hulu. In this series, David Schwimmer plays Anthony Brewer, a retired botany professor who delves deep into science and mystery.
The upcoming season will be inspired by several highly-acclaimed titles from the Goosebumps library, such as “Stay Away from the Cellar,” “Ghostly Car Ride,” “Monsterous Juice,” “The Girl Who Shouted ‘Monster,'” “Neighboring Spook,” and “Nightmare Summer Camp,” among others.

In 2023, Goosebumps: The Vanishing picks up where the Goosebumps television series left off from its initial run in 1995. Unlike the original show which had a separate story for each episode, this revamped series adopts a continuous anthology structure, meaning new tales unfold with each passing season.
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that alongside Schwimmer, the cast for Goosebumps: The Vanishing includes Ana Ortiz as Jen, Jayden Bartels as Cece, Sam McCarthy as Devin, Elijah M.
