As a diehard fan of Dhanush, I must say his life story never ceases to amaze me. From his humble beginnings to becoming a celebrated actor, musician, and director, Dhanush’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. The latest chapter in this fascinating tale, however, has been a bittersweet one – the separation from his wife Aishwarya after 18 years of marriage.
Dhanush and Rajinikanth’s eldest daughter Aishwarya announced in January 2022 that they were separating. At present, their divorce proceedings are ongoing at the Chennai Family Court. However, it was recently reported that neither of them appeared in court, leading to a postponement of their case.
Based on a report from Times of India, Dhanush and Aishwarya’s next court hearing regarding their divorce has been set for October 19th. In their recent proceedings, neither party was present, causing a stir in the media. However, taking into account the situation, the judge arranged a new date to give both individuals time to ready themselves for the case.
In 2004, I was fortunate enough to tie the knot with a remarkable woman, Dhanush. Over the past 18 years, we’ve shared a beautiful journey, becoming friends, partners, parents to our lovely sons Yatra and Linga. Together, we’ve grown, learned, accommodated, and adapted. Now, after much contemplation, we’ve decided to separate. However, this doesn’t change the love, respect, and well-wishes that I continue to have for her in all aspects of our lives.

While talking about Anirudh Ravichander’s musical career, Aishwarya once mentioned Dhanush after almost two years of their divorce announcement.
She informed Cinema Vikatan that she had no involvement in Anirudh’s career as a music director. Instead, it was entirely due to Dhanush that Anirudh entered the film industry. She further disclosed that when Anirudh’s parents considered sending him to Singapore for a Business or Master’s degree, Dhanush encouraged them by saying, “Trust me, he is incredibly gifted.” From purchasing a keyboard for him to making him the composer in three films, all the credit goes to Dhanush.
In terms of professional endeavors, Aishwarya recently completed directing a movie called Lal Salaam. Simultaneously, Dhanush is preparing for the premiere of Kubera, which features Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna. This film is being helmed by director Sekhar Kammula.
In the movie known as “Raayan,” Dhanush made his latest appearance. This project served as his second time directing and also marked his fiftieth endeavor. The film garnered positive responses from viewers and can now be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
