Ever since I first encountered this adorable Steel/Fairy type in Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire back in 2003, it has held a special place in my heart. Now, finally, we get to catch it as a raid monster!
Niantic continues to offer the Pokemon Go community fresh Mega Raid events, allowing players to experience Mega Evolutions. Here’s a rundown of the upcoming Mega Raid details, including any necessary Tickets and special Bonuses.
Mega Raid Day with Mawile
Back in 2003, when I first got my hands on Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire, little did I know that one day Mawile would become a part of my adventure in the digital world. And now, it’s happening! Niantic is bringing this third-generation Pokémon into Pokémon Go as a raid boss. Exciting times ahead for trainers like me!
On October 12th, the Steel/Fairy type will officially be introduced, giving players a fantastic chance to capture Mega Mawile for their collection. This could potentially be your moment to grab hold of its Mega Evolution, as well as maybe even a shimmering, rare shiny version!
Bonuses and Tickets
Typically, every Go event comes with several Bonuses. In this particular occasion, here’s what you can anticipate as Bonuses:
- Increase of the Remote Raid limit
- Up to five additional free Raid Passes
And if you’re willing to spend $5.00 on the Event Ticket, you will also get the following:
- Eight additional Raid Passes
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles
- 2 x Stardust from Raid Battles
Note that the ticket can only be purchased in the in-game store before October 12, 5:00 PM (local time), and the bonuses will be active between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
