We’re currently figuring out how to build and grow this world in an exciting manner while keeping the characters relatable. This was a key focus for us in the initial film because the universe of Five Nights at Freddy’s is so extraordinary and whimsical. Finding the emotional authenticity of the characters would be crucial for success. I believe fans will be thrilled with the outcome. It promises to be an enjoyable journey with the original material. It will also be scarier, which is a bonus.

When asked about possibly reprising the role for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 if it becomes successful, Hutcherson replied with a hint of mystery, “One can never tell.
