Terrifier 3 Screening Causes People to Walk Out & Puke Due to Extreme Gore

As a seasoned horror enthusiast with a penchant for the macabre and the grotesque, I must admit that my anticipation for Terrifier 3 has reached fever pitch. Having delved into countless slasher films over the years, I’ve grown accustomed to the genre’s inherent brutality, yet I find myself intrigued by the audacity of Damien Leone and his unrelenting vision.

As a diehard fan, I can’t contain my excitement as the release date for Terrifier 3, helmed by Damien Leone, draws nearer. However, it seems the film has stirred quite a bit of debate due to its graphic violence. This latest installment, a part of the celebrated slasher-splatter series, further explores the Terrifier universe and delves deeper into the chilling escapades of Art the Clown.

In the most recent chapter, Lauren LaVera’s character Sienna is struggling to adapt after the Halloween massacre, but Art manages to complicate her life yet again. Known for its intense brutality, a viewing of Terrifier 3 lived up to this billing as 11 audience members decided to leave the movie midway through.

Terrifier 3’s gore is too much to handle, 11 people walk out of an early screening

The first screening of Terrifier 3 in the UK recently saw 11 people walk out of the theater due to the movie’s disturbing content.

According to an article from LADbible, during the premiere of this horror movie, I was among nine people who left in the very first scene. To make things even spookier, one of us who watched it early on had such a shock that they ended up vomiting after watching the slasher flick.

Before the controversy surrounding Terrifier 3’s walkout incident, director Damien Leone had already expressed his concerns regarding the film’s intense sequences. He shared his struggles in creating Terrifier 3 due to its graphic content, stating that potential studios showed apprehension even before a script was written. He described the sense of unease he felt, as if there would always be someone watching over his shoulder, due to concerns about the violence and gore depicted in the film.

Leone defended the debatable initial scene of Terrifier 3, implying there’s far more shocking content ahead. “That’s not even the major killing,” the director explained. “Hence, I felt compelled to produce this film independently as it’s just too extreme.

Despite facing criticism, Terrifier 3 boasts a notable Rotten Tomatoes critic rating of 88%. Many favorable reviews for this project stem from its screenings at various horror festivals. This highly anticipated horror sensation is set to be released in theaters on October 11, 2024.
