Balachandra Menon files FIR against actress and lawyer for threatening him over phone amid sexual harassment allegations

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for discerning character and integrity, I find myself deeply troubled by the series of events unfolding in the Malayalam film industry. The allegations against Balachandra Menon, once a respected figure in Mollywood, paint a grim picture that seems to contradict his previous standing.

Balachandra Menon has brought a lawsuit against an actress from Aluva due to her controversial comments about him on Facebook and YouTube. According to News 18, this woman intimidated and extorted Balachandra over the phone and also misused his photos. The report further states that Balachandra also made a complaint against certain YouTube channels for posting interviews that damaged his reputation.

The actress hailing from Aluva is anticipated to receive a call from law enforcement officers for more questioning about the ongoing case. Previously, a woman who was earlier charged made allegations against Balachandra, claiming he took advantage of her during the filming of De Ingottu Nokkiye and subjected her to sexual harassment. This complaint was submitted to the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

Recently, Malayalam actress Minu Muneer disclosed that she faced harassment within Mollywood at the hands of well-known individuals. As per a report by India Today, Minu alleged that Balachandra Menon coerced her to witness explicit acts in his room around 2007.

In simpler terms, the actress said, “A couple of other men were present, observing. There were three women and one man involved in the activity. I left the room. He then invited me to return and watch.

She filed a complaint against multiple people, including Jayasurya and MLA Mukesh.

Speaking about past cases, the actress expressed her contentment with the investigation, stating, “It’s quite significant when someone as influential as an MLA gets arrested.

Minu Muneer disclosed later on that she chose to voice her thoughts following the release of the Hema Committee report. She described it as a strong, instinctive feeling within her.
