What is Take Cover about?
In the action-packed thriller, Scott Adkins’ character is trapped without any protection, backup, or escape route. The storyline reveals that Sam Lorde, over his lifetime, has been an accomplished killer. Following a job gone awry, he becomes disenchanted and purposeless, choosing to leave his hitman career behind. However, the last assignment he completes lands him in grave danger as he becomes the target himself. With minimal resources for protection, he must use all his strength and skills to stay alive.
In “Take Cover,” Alice Eve (known for films like “Bombshell”), Madalina Bellariu Ion (“The Young Pope”), and Billy Clements (“Meg 2: The Trench”) join the cast, along with actors such as those who have appeared in movies including “The Expendables 2” and “John Wick: Chapter 4,” like Adkins and Parr, from shows like “Peaky Blinders” and “Masters of the Air.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to highlight that McKinless has an impressive resume in the world of filmmaking. He was the visionary behind “The Iron Grip” in 2005 and a thought-provoking short film titled “Faith” in 2013. Additionally, he’s lent his skills as a stunt performer in numerous blockbusters, including “Batman Begins” (2005), “The Bourne Ultimatum” (2007), “Sherlock Holmes” (2009), “Kick-Ass” (2010), “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” (2011), “Edge of Tomorrow” (2014), “Transformers: The Last Knight” (2017), “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” (2021), and upcoming projects like “Fast X” (2023).
