During a press conference, the minister asserted that the BRS leader, KTR, was responsible for negatively impacting the lives of several actresses in the Telugu film industry. In relation to the divorce between Kushi actress Samantha and actor Naga Chaitanya, political figure Konda Surekha stated, “KTR requested that Samantha be sent to him as a trade-off for not tearing down the N-convention center. Nagarjuna pressured Samantha to meet with KTR. Samantha declined. This refusal reportedly led to their separation.
