We strongly objected to her allegations connecting Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader KT Rama Rao to the divorce of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Amala Akkineni expressed her shock through her social media account by saying, “I’m stunned to learn a female minister transforming into a monster, fabricating malicious accusations, using them as ammunition for political battles. Madam Minister, are you relying on individuals lacking in decency to share baseless and scandalous stories about my husband without an ounce of shame or truth? This is truly disgraceful.
Amala went on to ponder aloud, “How might our nation fare, should its leaders act unlawfully?
On his social media platform, Akhil, Naga Chaitanya’s brother, expressed solidarity with their mother by saying, “I fully back every statement you’ve made, and I stand with you and the family… It’s regrettable that we must confront such absurdity, but sometimes we have no option but to face off against individuals who exhibit such malicious behavior.

As per a report from Deccan Herald, Telangana minister Konda Surekha suggested that KTR may have played a role in the split between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Additionally, she accused KTR of negatively impacting the lives of multiple actresses within the entertainment industry.
Konda Surekha stated that it was common for KTR to throw exclusive parties for high-profile celebrities. Many actresses found it difficult to confront him, and as a result, they chose to leave the film industry and get married.
