However, you must advance through the game’s main storyline until you reach the Labyrinth and acquire the Biome Portal Key to gain access to it.
How to unlock the Chicago Typewriter
As an enthusiast, I can tell you that I discovered The Chicago Typewriter hidden in Ward 13 by navigating through a concealed passageway. To catch a glimpse of the Long Gun, you’ll need to journey deep into the heart of the hub world, beyond where Dwell stands. You’ll find this room behind a sturdy glass window, located at its farthest end. To access this secret location, you must traverse the Labyrinth using the Biome Portal Key as your guide.
First, retrieve the Biome Portal Key from the Keeper in the Labyrinth world. Next, make your way to the concealed crystal in the Fractured Ingress world. Upon arrival, locate the staircase on your right and climb it. Then, follow the path to your right all the way to its end. Behind the portal at the path’s terminus, you’ll find a secret portal that will lead you through.
Continue walking on this concealed pathway. After going through the second doorway, ascend the brick-built wall and retrace your steps by going through a hole. This maneuver will lead you to a stone entrance. Employ the Biome Portal Key to unlock it. This action will transport you back to Ward 13 and into the covert room where you’ll retrieve the Chicago Typewriter.
